The Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry offers several avenues for men to come together to serve God. We encourage your involvement in to help strengthen and grow the spiritual man God has destined for you to become. One of our main events, hosted by pastor Fred Richard, features a monthly Men’s breakfast. Meetings begin in September and conclude in May with our annual Men’s Growth Conference in McCormick, SC.

Come enjoy a bagel, cup of coffee or a full hot breakfast, but most of all we hope you will come for the worship, fellowship and teachings this meeting has to offer. You will hear a message tailored just for men that will help you identify your role as a Christian man in today's society.

Men’s Growth Conference

This years annual Men's Growth Conference was held in May 2010!
This is a fun and challenging time for men to get away for three days with other men, who are friends and family of Northwood as well as our sister churches.
The State Park amenities are abundant: try your hand at archery, take to the courts for tennis, get out the clubs for a round of golf on the beautiful 18-hole championship golf course, or take in Lake Thurmond's water related offerings of fishing, skiing and canoeing. After a day of fellowship and fun, a two part teaching session preceeded by a time of praise and worship is held on both nights. Your weekend at Hickory Knob will leave you feeling relaxed and invigorated.
